Stanton Correctional Facility in Fairfield, CA

Address: 2450 Claybank Road, Fairfield, CA 94533

Phone: (707) 784-4830

Operated by: Solano County Sheriff’s Office, Custody Division

The Stanton Correctional Facility is one of three jails in Solano County’s correctional system, located directly next to the Claybank Detention Facility on Claybank Road in Fairfield. Stanton houses a mix of pretrial and sentenced inmates, and serves as the central location for video visitation across the Solano County jail system — on-site video visits for inmates housed at both Stanton and Claybank take place at this facility’s terminals. The Justice Center Detention Facility at 500 Union Avenue in Fairfield handles initial intake and booking for the county.

If a Loved One Has Just Been Booked

Most Solano County arrests are processed through the Justice Center Detention Facility first, then transferred to Stanton or Claybank based on classification. To confirm where your loved one is currently held, check the Solano County Sheriff’s online roster or call (707) 784-7100 for the Justice Center or (707) 784-4830 for Stanton.

A few things worth knowing in those first hours:

  • All inmate phone calls are recorded. Don’t discuss what happened over the jail phone.
  • Arraignment typically happens within 48 hours of arrest, excluding weekends and holidays. Solano County criminal cases are heard at the Solano County Hall of Justice in Fairfield, or for Vallejo-area cases, at the Vallejo Branch Court.
  • Calls are funded through Connect Network — set up an account online or by calling (866) 230-7761.

Bail and Release

Bail amounts are set by the Solano County bail schedule. Bail can be posted in cash or through a licensed bail bondsman. An attorney can request a bail hearing to argue for reduction or release on own recognizance (OR release). For lower-level offenses, release on a citation may be available without bail.
